It occurred to me recently that the same stars have watched my whole life.
While I have been down here moving and spinning, going through ups, downs, turmoil and joys — they haven’t moved.
There they are, just steadily witnessing me unfold.
It seems like a potentially tedious task to watch all that I’ve been up to here.
But then I remember, all of this — all these years and memories and moments — this whole life — is but an instant to those stars.
No wonder they are so steady.
They haven’t even had a chance to blink.
